Today on Twitter, Ray Santiago unveiled a first look at his character, Pablo Simon Bolivar a.k.a. "El Brujo Especial" in Evil Dead: The Game. This venture from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games has been in the making ever since Ash vs Evil Dead was cancelled three years ago.
In December 2020, the trailer from the project was revealed by Bruce Campbell on social media much to his fans’ delight. Dana DeLorenzo who played Kelly Maxwell on the series announced that she would be voicing her character as well.
Then in January during a Wizard World Virtual Q & A panel with DeLorenzo, Campbell and Lee Majors, Ray divulged that he would also be providing the voice for Pablo in Evil Dead: The Game.
It's an exciting time to be a follower of Sam Raimi's franchise with not only the game on the horizon but a new movie, (Evil Dead Rise) as well! At present, here is what we know about the Saber Interactive/Boss Team Games venture:
Check out the official description:
"Work together as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls."
Evil Dead: The Game will be released sometime this year and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
